Voting Information:
Who, When, Where & Why

Candidates

Protect GCISD leadership is proud to vote for the following candidates:

Kimberly Phoenix

Sergio Harris

Dianna Sager

After meeting with the candidates, we feel that these candidates best represent our values. After looking at the data, we feel they have the best chance of beating the extremist candidates.
  • Kimberly is a GCISD mom and has extensive volunteer involvement in and knowledge of GCISD that far surpasses the other non-extremist candidate running in her place. She is the immediate past president of SAGE.

  • Sergio served in the U.S. Army and is currently a teacher in Irving ISD and has children in GCISD. We think it's time there is more teacher voice on the board. The current school board majority does not seem to care about the hostile working environment they've created.

  • Dianna is a recently retired coach and teacher at CHHS. She spent 20 years working in GCISD. We know she's dedicated to the district, and she will add more teacher voice to the board. She also has a child in the district.
